WHY FARADAY?
Information Security is at a cross roads of physical and software protection approaches. Entities can no longer rely solely upon encryption or standoff to protect from intrusions into their infrastructure. Communication problems and vulnerabilities occur frequently in an increasingly polluted wireless environment, both through incidental interference and malicious activity. Hacking and spoofing technologies are to the point where no one’s information or communication is safe. The current most popular route to protection is through encryption, but numerous and ongoing high-profile events demonstrate this method is not full-proof. Faraday Rooms are unique spaces within facilities that thwart wireless signals, snooping, emanation, or intrusion to secure an organization’s communications. Any room or space where your organization needs signal protection can be a Faraday Room. Faraday Rooms are constructed after a thorough consultation process with Faraday personnel to identify the proper levels of security required and to plan for your specific location. Each installation includes proprietary technology designed by Faraday Structures to restrict and protect signal vulnerabilities and prevent unapproved transmission of information.
CERTIFICATION
Faraday Certified rooms undergo a rigorous compliance review and testing process to ensure they meet or exceed defined standards and protect against electromagnetic signal threats and vulnerabilities.
SUPPORT
Faraday Certified installation are guaranteed to protect and perform as specified and as installed. We also understand that our customers’ facility needs, requirements, and environments may change over time. Damage to a Faraday Room, through renovation or other activity, may also change the ability of the room to provide required protection levels. We provide a comprehensive support program for our customers to help ensure that desired protection levels continue to be realized. We offer on-demand inspection and test services to check for damage to spaces, according changes in shielding performance, and electromagnetic baseline environmental changes. If any repairs are needed, we offer a repair service. We provide periodic inspection programs, where our personnel will re-test and re-certify your shielded spaces. If renovation or remodel of shielded spaces are needed, we can work alongside our facility personnel to ensure that shielding protection goals continue to be met during all aspects of the project.
