Dr. Nathan Hansen, CEO

Dr. Nathan Hansen is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Faraday Structures. He leads the strategic vision of the company, and is responsible for both business development and operational results. Dr. Hansen is recognized as in industry expert in both developing technologies and in building companies to bring those technologies to market. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. He has six years of embedded experience in business management and growth, supplanted by eleven years in development and insertion of conductive materials for commercial and defense applications. Dr. Hansen’s other key roles include serving as the President of Conductive Composites, and also Faraday Cases.

George Hansen, CTO

George Hansen is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Faraday Structures.  He leads the technological vision and developments of the company. George has more than forty years of senior leadership in research and development across the electromagnetic spectrum, defense technology, advanced materials, and the composites and chemical processing industries.  Mr. Hansen has more than 30 publications and maintains more than twenty individual patents.  As an accomplished technology leader, Mr. Hansen has received the R&D 100 Award, Utah Innovator of the Year (2010), SAMPE North America Board of Directors, and has been a recipient of the inaugural Pfeifferhorn Award (1996) which is Utah’s highest award for Environmental Stewardship.  He has also earned Six Phase I and six Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards, two Defense Acquisition Challenge Grants, and Defense Production Act Title III Awards.  Mr. Hansen earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Kieth Sorensen, Chief Strategy Officer

Kieth Sorensen is the Chief Strategy Officer for Faraday Structures. Mr. Sorensen has more than forty years in technology from Engineer to CEO, IPO to Private Equity Fund manager.  Mr. Sorensen is qualified as Public Audit committee member and Board of Directors chairman.  Kieth has set up domestic and international sales channels and has created two manufacturing companies, one delivering high-resolution displays and one high volume electronics. Mr. Sorensen has significant experience delivering products and services to NASA, US NAVY, FAA, NOAA, and many Fortune 100 companies, as well as Apple retail products.

Ken McEwan, Chief Financial Officer

Ken McEwan is the Chief Financial Officer of Faraday Structures Corporation. Mr. McEwan has more than 30 years of experience in technology companies. He has completed two IPOs, raised several rounds of private financing, and has participated in eight startup companies. Ken has also served as CEO and COO in previous companies and is heavily operations focused in manufacturing environments. His past companies include RasterOps (Founder/CFO/COO - IPO 1990), Creative Tech/Labs (CFO - IPO- 1993), Airwave Tech (CEO-Acquired 1997), Zap Int’l (CEO- Acquired 2003). Ken is also a CPA with a background from PWC- San Jose/Silicon Valley.Mr. McEwan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with previous experience with PriceWaterhouseCoopers
